Now, Armaan Jain, the show's producer and host, has offered a clear explanation, confirming that Alia's professional commitments were the sole reason for her skipping the much-anticipated family event.

Armaan Jain clarified in a recent interview that Alia Bhatt's non-participation was purely due to a clash in her demanding professional calendar.
Armaan Jain explained: "She was unfortunately unavailable because of shooting commitments. She had a prior schedule, and as the saying goes, work comes first, just as the legendary Raj Kapoor believed."
This confirms the widespread speculation that the incredibly busy actress was simply tied up with her existing film projects and could not adjust her dates to join the rest of the Kapoors for the special.
